The femur is the long bone of the thigh, extending from the hip to the knee. It is the longest and strongest bone in the human body.
The Design
We hand-sculpted these femur earrings with a lot of care, taking time to shape and refine the design.
Made by Us, From Sculpture to Finish
The original design is sculpted by us in our Swedish workshop. We make the mold, cast the earrings in lead-free pewter, and finish each one by hand. The surface is oxidized to bring out the form, then hand-polished.
