X and Y are the two types of human sex chromosomes. Most people have two sex chromosomes, with XX and XY being the most common combinations.
The Design
We hand-sculpted these chromosome earrings with a lot of care, taking time to shape and refine the design.
Made by Us, From Sculpture to Finish
The original design is sculpted by us in our Swedish workshop. We make the mold, cast the earrings in lead-free pewter, and finish each one by hand. The surface is oxidized to bring out the form, then hand-polished.
