The human skull protects the brain and forms the framework of the face. Its unmistakable shape has also made it a recurring motif in art, jewelry, and memento mori traditions.
The Design
We spent a lot of time carefully hand-sculpting and refining this ring, bringing two skulls together with a band shaped like bone.
Made by Us, From Sculpture to Finish
The original design is sculpted by us in our Swedish workshop. We make the mold, cast the ring in lead-free pewter, and finish each one by hand. The surface is oxidized to bring out the form, then hand-polished.
