A macrophage is a type of white blood cell and an important part of the immune system. It helps protect the body by engulfing microbes, damaged cells and other material, and also plays a role in coordinating immune responses and tissue repair.

We spent a lot of time hand-sculpting this piece, carefully shaping and refining the design.
Made by Us, From Sculpture to Finish
We sculpt the original by hand in our Swedish workshop. We make the mold, cast the pendant in lead-free pewter, and finish each one by hand. This piece is hand-polished without the oxidized finish used on most of our pewter jewelry.
