A three-dimensional plum seed pendant cast from an actual natural specimen. We make the mold from the original seed to preserve its elongated shape and natural surface.
The Design
The seed has a simple, organic form with a subtle groove and uneven surface that become especially visible in three dimensions.
Made by Us, From Sculpture to Finish
The original specimen is used to make the mold, allowing us to preserve its natural form in the finished pendant. We cast the piece in lead-free pewter and finish it by hand. The surface is oxidized to bring out the details, then polished by hand.
