An anatomical appendix pendant based on the small, narrow structure attached to the beginning of the large intestine. Hand sculpted and cast by us in lead-free pewter, it is an intentionally unusual piece of anatomy jewelry.
The Design
The pendant represents the vermiform appendix in its characteristic slender, curved form. It is a subtle anatomical reference that makes sense to anatomy enthusiasts, medical professionals, and anyone who appreciates overlooked structures of the human body.
Made by Us, From Sculpture to Finish
We create the original sculpture in our Swedish workshop, cast it in lead-free pewter, and finish it by hand. The surface is oxidized to emphasize the details and then polished by hand.
