The Design
The atlas is the first cervical vertebra and has a distinctive ring-like structure because it lacks the typical vertebral body. Those open spaces and projecting elements define the pendant's unusual shape.
Made by Us, From Sculpture to Finish
The original design is sculpted by us by hand in our Swedish workshop. We cast the piece in lead-free pewter and finish it by hand. The surface is oxidized to bring out the details, then polished by hand.
