A three-dimensional cashew pendant cast from an actual natural specimen. We make the mold from the original nut to preserve its characteristic curved shape and uneven surface.
The Design
The cashew's simple curved shape is the defining feature of the pendant. Small variations in the original nut's surface give the finished piece a more natural character than a perfectly uniform sculpted form.
Made by Us, From Sculpture to Finish
The original specimen is used to make the mold, allowing us to preserve its natural form in the finished pendant. We cast the piece in lead-free pewter and finish it by hand. The surface is oxidized to bring out the details, then polished by hand.
