A three-dimensional pendant based on the human fibula, the slender bone running along the outer side of the lower leg, sculpted by us by hand and cast in lead-free pewter.
The Design
The long, relatively narrow shaft and enlarged ends give the fibula its characteristic proportions. Those features remain visible in the pendant.
Made by Us, From Sculpture to Finish
The original design is sculpted by us by hand in our Swedish workshop. We cast the piece in lead-free pewter and finish it by hand. The surface is oxidized to bring out the details, then polished by hand.
