A three-dimensional pendant based on the human hyoid bone, designed for a choker and sculpted by us by hand in lead-free pewter.
The Design
The hyoid is a small, curved bone with horn-like projections and an unusual position in the upper neck. Those delicate extensions give the pendant a distinctive open silhouette.
Made by Us, From Sculpture to Finish
The original design is sculpted by us by hand in our Swedish workshop. We cast the piece in lead-free pewter and finish it by hand. The surface is oxidized to bring out the details, then polished by hand.
