A three-dimensional pendant based on the human sacrum, including the coccyx, sculpted by us by hand and cast in lead-free pewter.
The Design
The sacrum is a broad, triangular bone at the base of the spine, with distinctive openings and a tapering lower end. Those structures give the pendant its characteristic anatomical form.
Made by Us, From Sculpture to Finish
The original design is sculpted by us by hand in our Swedish workshop. We cast the piece in lead-free pewter and finish it by hand. The surface is oxidized to bring out the details, then polished by hand.
