The Design
We wanted the uterus to be recognizable as an anatomical structure rather than a generic symbol of motherhood. Its compact form makes it a subtle piece of jewelry while retaining the details that give the anatomy its identity.
Made by Us, From Sculpture to Finish
The original design is hand carved by us in our Swedish workshop. We make the mold, cast the pendant in lead-free pewter, and finish every piece by hand. The surface is oxidized to emphasize the details, then filed and polished.
